OSFC seniors kick away from Marcellin

The seniors kicked away from Marcellin on Saturday to keep their finals chances alive. An even first quarter was followed by a 6 goal to 2 second term which saw us lead by 4 goals at the break. Marcellin made a sever challenge with the breeze and closed the gap to 6 points at the 15 minute mark of the third term. The response of 5 goals into the breeze to effectively seal the match was as emphatic as it was important. 9 goals in the last term was also important as other A grade results became apparent. This week the boys must head to St Kevins and be desperate to win to keep our finals hopes alive.

A bye for both Under 19 teams saw all hands on deck at K2 on Saturday. Thanks to Bruce and Leithy for their support on the day. The Under 19 (1) team finishes their season this Saturday against St Bernards and will be looking to keep their good form going and end the season on a high at home against St Bernards. Leithy's boys are don't have to go far this week as they head to Kew.

A reminder that the Players Review is this Saturday night at The Gatte and the Trivia Night is the following Saturday in the clubrooms. Be there!
